The Council of International Schools and the International Baccalaureate recently visited KIS International School as part of their regular 5-year re-evaluation of the school. The organizations complimented the school and confirmed KIS’s status as an authorized IB World School and a CIS accredited school.

The International Baccalaureate reviewed the IB Primary Years Programme, IB Middle Years Programme and IB Diploma Programme at KIS. We are pleased to announce that KIS continues its excellent standing with the IB and has once again passed the re-authorisation with flying colours.

CIS reviewed of all aspects of the school, including curriculum, leadership, safety, and so on, and in these areas KIS also performed extremely well, and the school’s status as a CIS accredited school has been continued.

KIS was praised for developing global citizens and for living up to the school’s mission statement and values.  Other areas that impressed CIS and the IB included KIS’s mother tongue development and language learning, the rich and stimulating learning environments, the action taken on safeguarding and child protection, employing quality staff, good facilities and productive partnerships between home and school.
