Today marks a special day at KIS as it's the 100th day of school! We've learned a lot, seen a great deal of growth and made many friends in the process!
This is also a great way to make learning mathematics fun while using the number 100. To celebrate how fun maths can be, the students were invited to make their own t-shirts showing 100 days of learning at KIS. As an IB school in Bangkok, there are so many different things that we can be proud of from the past 100 days. The PYP students arrived to newly renovated classrooms, many new students joined our community from all around the world, KIS won both the Primary and Secondary School categories for So You Think You Can Dance competition and the International Food Fair was a huge success - just to name a few highlights.
The students are doing a number of in class activities related to this celebration, including arts and crafts, maths exercises and a Primary Years Programme Assembly in the afternoon. The Grade 5 is also holding a fund raising bake sale, which also includes estimate jars. Guess closest to how many items are in the jar and win a prize!
Looking back on how much has gone on in the past 100 days of school, it's no wonder why it flew by so quickly! This landmark of 100 days of school is a special one, and it's great to see all of the students celebrating their love of learning. Lets make the last 80 days of this year even better!
