KIS International School launches a new IB programme for students to follow their passion
The Career-related Programme: A flexible IB framework for a personalized education
Many families are familiar with the International Baccalaureate® Diploma Programme (IBDP) as a route to higher education, but the IB also has an innovative option for students who are interested in experiential hands-on learning.
The International Baccalaureate® Career-related Programme (IBCP) is a dual-enrollment programme for students in Grades 11-12 that have a strong interest in Sustainable Leadership, Business, Art, or Design. Students gain hands-on professional experience while also staying on track to succeed academically and attend university.
KIS cordially invites you to learn more about the IBCP at our launch event on Friday, March 18 from 3-5.

The CP Model
CP students experience the best of both IB worlds; the theoretical principles and academic rigor of the DP, along with tailored career-related studies and practical work experience. The curriculum plays to a students’ academic strengths because there is flexibility in the DP subjects which can be chosen, allowing students to choose those at which they excel.
The CP should not be perceived as less academic than the DP as it is just challenging, in fact, the CP can involve more independent study and a higher level of self-discipline and organization than the DP.
Career Pathways
Art & Design
One of the most valuable aspects of pursuing a creative career in art and design is the ability to create one's own path—and the options are limitless. CP students participate in university levels courses and earn university credits through the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in the US.
Business & Sustainability
There is an increasing demand for sustainability careers as companies around the world incorporate sustainable practices into their businesses. This pathway supports students who are interested in pursuing a career in the world of business, with a focus on sustainability and leadership. CP students participate in university levels courses and earn university credits through the Sustainability Management School (SUMAS) in Switzerland.
Whichever program students choose, they learn by doing what they love while building lifelong skills enabling them to move through the world as socially responsible citizens with a sense of purpose.
As one of only 3 full continuum IB schools in Bangkok, KIS International School is known for its dynamic curriculum and passionate educators that guide students toward thinking for themselves and take control of their learning. Students develop the skills to help them become global leaders that can transform the world into one that is more compassionate, sustainable, and prosperous.
