Lunar New Year Celebrations

What a show!

We had an amazing time celebrating the Lunar new year with a Lion dance show on campus last week. The entire school gathered outside to watch the performance, creating a festive and lively atmosphere. The energy was palpable as the students watched in awe.

The Lion dance is a traditional Chinese performance that is believed to bring good luck and prosperity. Students dress in traditional attire and feed the lion red envelopes of money to welcome a prosperous year.

The Lion dance show also provided an opportunity for our students to engage in an authentic cultural experience as part of their International Baccalaureate (IB) learning.

It was a truly memorable event that left everyone feeling energized and excited for the lunar new year. We are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate such an important cultural event and we look forward to many more in the future.
