How do we build a caring and inclusive community at KIS?
Grade 3 had the amazing opportunity to visit Ms. Daisy's Science lab to do experiments related to Chemistry with our Grade 11 students. At KIS International School, it's common for our secondary school students and teachers to welcome our primary learners. Our secondary students are always happy to share their knowledge and spend quality time with the youngest students who are amazed by what they will learn in the future, a great way to develop a love of learning for the years to come
During this visit, the students enjoyed:
Chromatography: The colors moved on wet filter paper.
Invisible Ink: The message was revealed with baking powder, then shown with turmeric.
Balloon Inflation: The balloon inflated as baking soda reacted with vinegar.
Static Electricity: The balloon rubbed on hair, causing salt and pepper to stick.
