We had an amazing time honoring Thai culture through our Loy Krathong festivities. From vibrant Thai dance performances to our Board Chair, Mr. Ray Davis, visiting our students as they created eco-friendly Krathongs, today was a very special day.
This year's theme, "Biodegradable Krathong," empowered students to choose materials and create Krathongs that are environmentally friendly.
The Primary School assembly showcased the 'Kin Ri Ron' dance and featured a collaborative performance by our Thai instrumental band from the secondary school.
The parent association (KISPA) organized an activity where our community came together to make wishes to the river and fold lotus petals, symbolizing unity and respect for nature.
As an IB school, celebrating diverse cultures is vital. These experiences help us understand and appreciate the heritage of our host country.
Thank you to the Thai Department and everyone who participated. It was an amazing and memorable celebration for everyone.
