Hands-on Science Experiments

As our knowledgeable Grade 12 prepare for their IB Diploma Programme (DP) exams in April, the DP Biology students engage in laboratory activities such as organ dissection to augment their textbook learning beyond determining organ system structures, but to further develop connections on how organ systems work together to sustain life functions.

DP students are investigating adaptation structures of the chambers heart and its connection to the lungs to perform the life function of pulmonary blood circulation, before delivering oxygen-rich blood to the different parts of the body, or systemic blood circulation.

A number of KIS students aspire to pursue careers in the medical field, and the KIS experience is truly remarkable to inspire them to reach these exciting goals.
