Grade 5 3D Cities Mini-Exhibition: Shaping the Future
Our Grade 5 students recently wrapped up their mini-exhibition, proudly showcasing the Innovative 3D cities they designed and built as part of their Unit of Inquiry, How the World Works. This project was a deep dive into the systems of governance with the focus on effective, efficient, and ethical design planning and organization. The students explored how these systems influence the lives of citizens and the rights and responsibilities of citizens.
Through weeks of inquiry, research, planning, and collaboration, our young city designers brought their visions to life, incorporating various aspects of urban design while considering the roles and responsibilities of governance. As they presented their physical or digital cities to the community, they shared the thought process behind each element, demonstrating their understanding of how the world functions on a societal level.
It was inspiring to witness their creativity and thoughtful perspectives, and we're so grateful to everyone who attended and engaged with our students. Thank you for being a part of this journey!
