A Creative Journey Through Talat Noi

A Creative Journey Through Talat Noi

Grade 11 DP Visual Art students embarked on an inspiring trip to the historic Talat Noi area, immersing themselves in the creative world of photography, printmaking, and location-based art.

The day began with a hands-on workshop led by Photographer Kars Tuinder at his iconic Photohostel & Photocafe. Students explored the history of photography and gained insights into the creative industry. They then ventured into Talat Noi’s vibrant streets, capturing its rich culture and character through their lenses.

These photographs will take on new life as students transform them into unique prints and artworks in the arts classroom. This hands-on experience not only sharpened their artistic skills but also deepened their understanding of visual storytelling.

Great work, Grade 11! We can’t wait to see how these moments are brought to life in your final pieces.
