The World Scholar's Cup (WSC) is an international academic competition that gathers students from around the globe to compete in various subjects, including literature, science, history, arts, and social studies. It comprises four main events: the Scholar's Challenge, Team Debate, Collaborative Writing, and the Scholar's Bowl. The competition aims to foster critical thinking, collaboration, and interdisciplinary learning among students.
Twelve of our KIS students participated in the WSC regional round at DBS. Over 30 schools participated, with more than 600 students.
Their achievements speak volumes:
1st and 2nd place for Debate
KIS, 2nd Overall Team
4 Scholars ranking in the top 10 in Individual Debate
3 teams securing positions in the top 10 for global round qualification
Trophies for Scholars' Challenge, top 10 for Scholar's Bowl, and top 20 for Scholar's Writing.
Congrats! We are incredibly proud of our students who excelled in all areas of the WSC World Scholar's Cup!
