In addition to the competitive sports teams, KIS offers a wide range of after school activities for every grade level, providing students with opportunities to try many new and favourite activities, develop their passion and have fun!
The Primary School after school programme offers daily activities after school for all grade levels, from the Early Years up. A range of activities including arts, crafts, dance, instrumental music, IT, science exploration, sports, cooking and games are provided to expand student interests. For each grade level a homework club is also offered to support children with their class homework.
The Secondary School programme is complemented by a variety of after school Sports Coaching Clubs (in addition to the competitive sports teams) which provide training and skill tactics for interscholastic competitions with AISAA member schools. Sports include basketball, soccer, swimming, badminton, volleyball, table tennis, fitness, touch rugby and athletics. Other clubs vary per term, but have typically included activities such as Model United Nations, band practice, drama club, media club, the student council, So You Think You Can Dance, orchestra, Ted ED club, yearbook, baking club and design “makerspace”, reflecting some of the varied interests and talents found within the student body.
