 Van Gogh Exhibition
‘PRINTS FOR PACHYDERMS’ VAN GOGH EXHIBITION OPENING AT KIS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
KIS International School and Elephant Nature Park are delighted to announce their upcoming ‘Prints for Pachyderms - Celebrating the life of Van Gogh’ exhibition. From Monday 10th May until Saturday 22nd May art and elephant lovers are invited to visit the KIS campus to view many of Van Gogh’s most popular and well loved pieces, consisting of over 60 framed fine art reproduction prints on paper. The exhibition, which has been initiated by Mr. G.Z.Lukacs from Europe, is a great opportunity for post-impressionist aficionados to see a large collection of Van Gogh’s work whilst also raising awareness and funds for the Elephant Nature Park. All framed prints on display are for sale with the proceeds being used to benefit the elephants. Visitors are invited to view the exhibition between 8.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday and 10am - 3pm Saturday (closed on Sunday) during the exhibition period.
Elephant Nature Park, a unique conservation project set in Chiang Mai Province, Northern Thailand has been in operation since in the 1990's with a goal to provide a sanctuary and elephant rescue centre. The park is set over 60 kilometres from the city in a natural valley, bordered by a river, and surrounded by forested mountains. The area offers a timeless glimpse of rural life, and has provided a sanctuary for distressed elephants from all over Thailand for over a decade.
