Earth Day

Grade 2 recently invited all Primary classes from KG to Grade 5 to their classroom to share presentations about how we can sustain and maintain the Earth's resources. G2 shared their comic books, stories and board games and created jingles for the visitors to perform.
They ran competitions to see who could perform the most unique and interesting jingle. The winners were announced at the school's Earth Day assembly which also included a summary on what Earth Day is, photographs from the classroom activities and two songs about saving the planet –
Michael Jackson's 'Man in the Mirror' and John Williamson's 'Rip Rip Woodchip'.
