Diploma ProgrammeThe IB Diploma Programme is an academically challenging and balanced programme of education with final examinations that prepares students, normally aged 16-18, for success in university and life beyond. The programme is taught over two years and has gained recognition and respect from the world's leading universities, often leading to preferential admissions and earned college credits for IB students. At the end of Grade 12, IB Diploma candidates complete oral and written examinations in all of their IB subjects. IB exams are prepared and externally graded under the supervision of the International Baccalaureate in Geneva. The IB Diploma at KIS KIS was authorized for the IB Diploma in 2008 and the first cohort graduated in June 2010. Students currently have the opportunity to select the following subjects from the 6 subject groups: GROUP 1- LANGUAGE A
GROUP 2- LANGUAGE B
GROUP 3- INDIVIDUALS & SOCIETIES
GROUP 4- EXPERIMENTAL SCIENCES
GROUP 5- MATHEMATICS AND COMPUTER SCIENCE
GROUP 6- THE ARTS
