2000	Primary Years Programme authorization from the International Baccalaureate Organization
2002	KIS becomes member of International School Association Thailand (ISAT) KIS licensee Kumaree Chinawat appointed to ISAT committee
2003	School renamed KIS International School; Secondary School expansion approved Launch of second strategic plan Accreditation by Council of International Schools
2004	Opening of new arts centre and swimming pool facilities PYP Evaluation KIS becomes member of Thailand International School Activities Conference (TISAC) Licensee Kumaree Chinawat is appointed Vice President of ISAT Executive Board and Chair of Communication and Development Head of School Sally Holloway appointed on ISAT Executive Board as Chair of Professional Development Committee

2006	The acronym for KIS "Knowledge Inspiration Spirit" is launched; KIS is rebranded with a new logo and a new advertising campaign Opening of new auditorium & canteen facilities Opening of new outdoor sports complex and tennis courts Creation of new KIS Parent Association (KISPA) Head of School Sally Holloway elected on the International Baccalaureate Asia Pacific Regional Heads Committee
