The school is situated on a 4 acre campus in a secure, gated community, easily accessible from central Bangkok, near Ekkamai and Rama 9. KIS is a five minute taxi ride from the MRT (underground) and a 15 minute taxi ride from the BTS (skytrain)

IB roles
In addition to being trained by IB, many teachers hold additional positions within the IB such as: examiner, workshop leader, workshop evaluator, IB Authorizers and MYP curriculum committee member. KIS has participated in several IB pilot projects and our Head of School, Sally Holloway is vice-chair of the Board of the IB.

KIS offers door-to-door transportation service operated by KIS and Montri bus. Fees vary by location. Free shuttle bus service is available from the MRT for secondary students. The shuttle service is also available to Primary School students if accompanied by an adult. There is also a designated bus service to and from Wat Thai-Thong at the Ekamai BTS station for secondary students.
